"ENOLA” is a song I wrote about feeling like an outcast in a society or an industry that rejects you, leaving you isolated and alone in your thoughts. It's about the crippling loneliness that can consume your mind, and the desperation to find someone who truly understands and accepts you for who you are. The song touches on themes like the pain of feeling abandoned by those you need most, and the struggle to find a shoulder to lean on when it feels like everyone is far away. It's about embracing the human experience, with all its complexities and challenges. It's about holding onto hope, even when it feels like the darkness is suffocating, and knowing that you're not alone, even when it feels like you are. I wrote and produced the song on iOS GarageBand a few months before I turned eighteen in 2019, during a time when I felt overwhelmed by the weight of my own loneliness. I felt disconnected from myself, others, and the world around me. The original concept I had back then for a music video and album art involved me crying blood, a symbol of the raw emotion and pain I was feeling. Bringing that concept back to life feels really empowering. I still relate to the emotions and themes in "ENOLA", although my perspective has evolved. Music is powerful because it can be interpreted in so many ways, and I believe that's what makes it so universal. Sometimes, it feels like everyone around me has found their tribe, their support system, and I'm left feeling like I don't belong. In the music industry, it can feel Isolating, like I'm watching trom the outside looking in. But hope that "ENOLA" can be a reminder that you’re not alone, and that even in the darkest moments, there is hope for a brighter future. I hope this song makes you dance and cry at the same time, and most importantly, I hope it makes you feel less ENOLA.
