"Mystery Van" is a song that embodies the spirit of a once-in-a-lifetime experience, frozen in the moment. It's about a reality that only exists within the walls of a rave, where the music, lights, and energy of the crowd converge to create an unforgettable experience. The inspiration was inspired by my first rave experience in Johannesburg 2020 at the nightclub Truth, which took place on Halloween night under the enchanting Blue Moon. The night was a sensory overload, and the experience has been etched in my memory forever. Picture this: Imagine an outdoor rave, where the atmosphere is electric. The music is pumping, and the crowd is dancing in unison. Then, the rain starts pouring down, covering the dance floor with a layer of water that shimmers and reflects the club lights. Like walking & dancing on water – truly a trippy experience. The sky above is painted oxblood, a testament to the storm brewing above. Yet, it's as if the Blue Moon's energy is fueling the magic on the dance floor.
